In these challenging corona times, spectators and fans are thirsty to be able to pass on their support to their heroes on the field. New partnership between a high-tech tech company and the 6-time winner of Spanish La Liga, Valencia C.F., must alleviate the worst hunger for the club's fans.

Will be included as an extra experience

Franco Segarra, Valencia's innovation manager, says in a press release that the AR experience - Augmented Reality - must be included as part of Valencia VCF Innovation Hub. In an online channel Proactive interview with ImagineAR's Alen Paul Silverrstieen and Valencia's Seggara, tells both that they are looking forward to the partnership.

It has been a great challenge for all club teams at the top level to do the ‘dance with the corona’ and keep its fans engaged. Franco Seggara could vote in favor of this in the interview. - Yes, it has clearly been a huge challenge for us to be able to engage our fans in the current situation and we are really happy - and full of anticipation - of what this partnership can bring. AR offers a number of opportunities, such as the experience of visiting our stadium. We are really looking forward to trying them out, Segarra says in the interview.

Collaborating with the NFL organization

One wonders how this could work out, but judging by the two partners, Valencia and ImagineAR, the club's fans can start to rejoice. ImagineAR is already involved in projects in the American football league NFL's talent line, the NFL Alumni Academy, which of course is of a slightly different cast than our European form of football, aka soccer. The company therefore has an exciting 'player' in its backpack, which can carry exciting experiences into the new partnership.

If some of our readers are really nerdy - and who is'nt - then you have the opportunity to play with the masking of Valencia's stadium, which has just been completed. You can download it from ImagineAR's website here.

Brings the stadium out to the club's fans

- It is a big challenge for a football team not to have its fans on the stands. We need our fans and now that we can't have our fans in the stadium, we are trying to bring the stadium to our fans, so to speak. This gives us an opportunity to give the possibllity to be ‘in the stadium’ despite the circumstances, Franco Segarra continued.

Footballogy.net will follow up with a more detailed article on the upcoming collaboration when Valencia and ImagineAR seriously set their plans out to the club's fans and thus the public, but in short, the project is that ImagineAR, has produced a model of Valencia's stadium, Mastalla. This will then be part of the AR experience - Augmented Reality - so that VCF's 7 million fans around the world can take part in Valencia's home matches.

Plans are being implemented latest by December 2020

- We look forward to working with Valencia, one of the biggest teams in the world, says CEO Alen Paul Silverrstein for ImagineAR, who met Franco Segarra at a conference earlier this year. According to the plans, the innovative partnership will kick off at the end of November or beginning of December.
