The Danish tech company Veo, known for its innovative analysis and streaming cameras for football clubs, is now introducing a new concept to its product portfolio. From their headquarters on Rovsingsgade in Copenhagen, the forward-thinking team is aiming to bring their high-tech AI camera to the world of grassroots football—making live streaming and match analysis accessible to all.
"At Veo, we believe that every football team should have the opportunity to record their matches and relive their best moments," the company stated in its press release announcing the launch of the concept.
Until now, Veo has primarily focused on clubs at the higher levels just below the elite, but experience with this target group has provided the company with a key insight. Kienn Jensen, Head of “Veo Bredde / Veo Grassroots” and responsible for the new initiative, tells Footballogy.net: – What we’ve learned from these clubs is that while it’s great to use video to chase a higher level, it’s just as important to create great experiences and shared memories. That’s something we want to offer even more football players in Denmark
AI-Powered Camera for Football Enthusiasts
Veo has already established itself as an innovative player in football technology. The company’s latest camera, Veo Cam 3, can record matches without the need for a camera operator. The system automatically tracks the game and follows the ball, allowing clubs to analyze matches in detail afterward—or simply rewatch them over a cold beer or soda in the clubhouse the next day.
For grassroots clubs, this also creates the opportunity to work with video analysis in the same way as professional teams have for years. With access to match recordings, coaches can show players where they can improve, while clubs can also use video to share highlights with fans and sponsors.
Advanced Analysis for Coaches and Players
Several clubs in Denmark have already started using the technology, and early feedback suggests that it enhances training and adds a new dynamic to team preparations. Without the need to invest in expensive equipment or specially trained staff, grassroots clubs can now gain professional-level insights into their game.
At the same time, the recordings help create shared experiences within clubs, where players and coaches can review and discuss match developments together.

– The new thing is that we are now targeting a segment where great experiences come first, and where advanced analysis tools may not be as crucial. We’re adjusting the price and features slightly so that most clubs can take part, concludes Kienn Jensen to Footballogy.net.

When launching outside Denmark, Veo will name it more internationally but for now the new concept "Veo Bredde" is only available in Denmark.
